We are aware of an issue with our Dental Chew, which is shaped like a figure “8.” On limited occasions, the product has gotten stuck on a dog’s jaw. Removing it was understandably an upsetting experience for dogs and pet parents.
Since learning about the issue, we’ve done everything we can to take care of those affected, including paying any related vet expenses.
We addressed the issue with a simple but effective design change: the updated product’s holes are so small they will not easily allow an adult thumb through. We have worked diligently with retailers to ensure only the updated product is in the marketplace.
To avoid any additional issues, please do not use or sell the older model. If you have a Dental Chew and are unsure if you have the updated design, please email a photo to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will gladly issue a full refund, or if you prefer, replace the older model with a new Dental Chew or different product.
