Puppy 2-Pack

It’s here! Our much anticipated Benebone puppy line has arrived just in time for puppy season.

Benebone began catering to the toughest of chewers.  But let’s face it, puppies like to chew too!  The toughness and durability of our adult Benebones can be too much for tiny puppy teeth to safely enjoy. So we created a slightly softer, yet still durable, specially created puppy line of Benebones.

For tiny pups under 15 lbs, our puppy line includes two 2-packs of chewing fun. Our first 2-pack includes our classics: the wishbone and dental chew that dog parents have come to know and love. But we didn’t stop the fun there. We created another 2-pack with our most recent additions to the Benebone family: the Maplestick and Zaggler.

For larger pups (under 30 lbs), we offer our puppy chew in the classic bacon wishbone shape  and the Maplestick, which includes real maple wood. You’ll love when your puppy chews on our Maplestick instead of chewing on your kitchen chair legs.

Our entire puppy line has pink and blue packaging making it easy for dog parents to spot. You’ll also notice they have the word “puppy” embossed on one side to make it easy for dog parents to spot them on the floor if they are scattered with our adult Benebones. While your adult dog may be tempted to chew on the puppy Benebones, it’s best to keep them separated, as adults will quickly chew through the softer puppy chews.

All of our products are ergonomically designed for a pup to grasp on without the luxury of opposable thumbs. There’s real bacon inside for flavor, so these chews are sure to be a hit with the newest four-legged addition to your family.

Puppies require both physical and mental exercise as they grow. Mental stimulation can help deter “bad” behavior, while also keeping your pup busy. The rolling nature of the Zaggler will provide your growing pup a stimulating challenge.

Just like with the rest of our chews, make sure your puppy has strong, healthy teeth that can withstand the fun of chewing a Benebone. Your pup may be an early teether so be sure to check your pup’s teeth often for the arrival of adult teeth. Your pup doesn’t necessarily have to turn 1 to move onto our adult line. A good way to know for sure is to ask your vet if your puppy has lost all their baby teeth.

Once your pup has all their adult teeth in, we invite you explore our entire line of Benebones for adult dogs. We offer Benebones for every size ranging from the tiny (15 lbs and under) to giant (under 120 lbs).

As always, please monitor your pup while they are chewing for safety reasons. Check out our Safety Page and When To Replace Guide for guidance on keeping your pup safe.

Is your new pup loving the chews? Share your photos using #Benebone with us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!

We all know that puppies explore the world with their mouths. Whether it’s your shoes, the legs of your furniture, or the leaves on the ground outside, they love getting a taste of anything and everything as they grow and learn about the world.

Today, we are so excited to announce the newest addition to the Benebone family… The Puppy Pack!

Our existing line of Benebone chews, whether small or large, have always been suitable for adult dogs.

Because puppies have puppy teeth and need something a little softer to chew on, we sized and formulated our new variety of chew toys with smaller and younger puppies in mind.

While still quite firm and durable, the new puppy 2-pack is made a bit softer, especially for modest chewers and includes a dental chew with teeth-cleaning ridges and an easy-to-grip wishbone. These tiny-sized chew toys are for puppies under 15 lbs.

Because these tiny-sized chews are softer and made especially for puppies, they are a tad less durable.  Be careful not to let adult dogs or other strong chewers go-to-town on them.  Don’t worry, we’ve got a tougher chew for them!  For more, see www.benebone.com/safety.

While a tad softer than our adult line, our puppy are still quite hard and meant to last.  So ensure that your puppy has strong, healthy teeth. If you’re unsure, check with your vet to be safe. As always, please make sure to monitor your pup and ensure they are chewing safely. Check out our When To Replace Guide for guidance on when your Benebone should be tossed out.

Do you have a puppy who’s not quite so tiny?  Stay tuned – we are working on slightly larger puppy products for puppies under 30 lbs.  We expect them to hit the shelves later this year.
